City’s Water Treatment Temporarily Switches To Free Chlorine For Disinfection

The City of Goldsboro’s Water Treatment Plant has ceased feeding ammonia and is converting to free chlorine for disinfection. The city announced on Saturday it will discontinue the feed for a brief maintenance period and notification will occur before switching back to chloramines.
