Some Goldsboro homes are eligible for a free lead and copper sampling. If you are a homeowner within the Goldsboro city limits and your home meets the following criteria, the Water Treatment Plant needs your assistance:
- The home must have been built between 1982-1987.
- Must have either copper water pipes with lead solder or be serviced by a lead service line.
If your home meets these requirements, the city can offer you free lead and copper water sampling.
