The following schedule changes will take place in observance of the Labor Day holiday:

• Goldsboro City Offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2021 for Labor Day. 
• Monday’s solid waste routes in Goldsboro will be collected on Wednesday, September 8.
• County of Wayne Government Office will be closed Monday, September 6, 2021. Offices will re-open Tuesday, September 7, for normal business hours.
• All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed Monday. Library branches will be open on Tuesday for normal business hours.
• The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Monday. The Center will be open Tuesday for normal business hours.
• The Wayne County landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday. The landfill and convenience centers will re-open Tuesday for normal business hours.
• The Wayne County Animal Shelter will be closed Saturday and Monday. The shelter will re-open Tuesday for normal visiting hours.
• Mount Olive Town Offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. The town offices will re-open on Tuesday, September 7, at 8:00 A.M.
• The Town of Mount Olive Recyclable Center will also be closed on Monday and will re-open on Wednesday, September 8, at 8:00 A.M. 
• Town of Mount Olive household Garbage, Recyclables and Yard Waste Pick-Up will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
• Town of Mount Olive residents with a water or sewer afterhours emergency please call 919-658-5031 option 2 and you will be connected to Non-Emergency Dispatch
