ROCKY MOUNT – The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles is seeking applicants for a commissioned contractor to operate a license plate agency (LPA) in Goldsboro.
In North Carolina, NCDMV oversees LPAs, but the agencies are managed by private businesses or local governments. The current agency, at 1801 E. On July 19 at approximately 10:16 p.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Day Circle. Officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to UNC Health Wayne for treatment.
The victim was subsequently taken to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville for further treatment of the gunshot wound. The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau responded to the scene and began an investigation.… read more »
