PIKEVILLE – Miss North Carolina, Taylor Lloyd and Miss Goldsboro, Tara Parker, recently made an appearance at the open house for Desiree Autrey’s Academy of Performing Arts located in downtown Pikeville.
Lloyd is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and will graduate in December. Lloyd will be competing for the title of Miss America in the near future. This is the first time in several years Miss North Carolina has appeared in Pikeville.
