Suspicious Vehicle Leads to Arrest
On June 25, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office located a suspicious vehicle in the area of Luby Smith Road.
Deputies contacted the driver who was found to have an outstanding arrest warrant. Updated Information: As a result of the ongoing investigation, probable cause was developed for charges against two male subjects identified as Mikell Vito Wright, 22, and Isaiah Jaiquan Benton-Lofton, 18.

On June 15th at approximately 2 p.m., officers from Goldsboro Police Department’s VICE Unit and Special Enforcement Unit were performing surveillance of the parking lot at 518 E. Elm St., which is Donel Express Mart.
While conducting surveillance, Special Enforcement Unit officers witnessed a man in a white T-shirt with a black bag in the parking lot area conducting several hand-to-hand transactions that were consistent with drug transactions.
