On Jan. 6, 2023, at approximately 3:30 p.m., staff at Goldsboro High School received information that a student was threatened by an unknown subject in the community. On November 28, 2022, and November 30, 2022, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to an Instagram message threatening to harm students and staff of Brogden Middle School.
