On Jan. 7, 2023, at approximately 8:07 p.m., Goldsboro Police Department “A” Shift officers responded to UNC Health Wayne in reference to a stabbing.  The responding officers were advised that a male subject had arrived via personal vehicle at the Emergency Department with multiple life-threatening stab wounds.  Investigators with Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau responded. Goldsboro Police Department has identified the victim in Monday’s shooting at Riddle & Brantley Law Offices. According to an incident report, Goldsboro police identified the victim in the case as Patrick White, 42, of Raleigh. On Dec. 12, 2022, at approximately 10:18 a.m., Goldsboro Police Officers responded to AP Exhaust, located at 300 Dixie Trail. Employees of the business reported that messages containing threatening language had been discovered.
