On March 23, 2023, at approximately 9:36 p.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department were dispatched to a residence in the 400 block of Murray Street in reference to a possible suicide attempt. Police say a 33-year old Goldsboro man was located deceased in his residence.

The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau responded to the scene to initiate an investigation. That investigation is still developing.
