Plane Crashes Into Kinston Racetrack, Pilot Dead

A plane crash in Kinston has left the pilot dead.  Attendees at the Kinston Drag Strip on Highway 11 and 55 spotted the small plane as it approached the racetrack Thursday night.  News outlets report the plane crashed in the midst of the race.  The pilot was the lone person on the plane.read more »
