On Aug. 6. at 6:18 a.m., Goldsboro Police Department A-Shift officers, along with Wayne County EMS and Goldsboro Fire, were dispatched to 117 Astor Ct. in reference to the report of a shooting. Once on the scene, an 8-year-old juvenile was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the left lower leg. On July 19 at approximately 10:16 p.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 100 block of Day Circle. Officers located a 17-year-old male suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was transported to UNC Health Wayne for treatment.
The victim was subsequently taken to ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville for further treatment of the gunshot wound. The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau responded to the scene and began an investigation.… read more »
