Driver Charged In May 7 Fatal Crash On U.S. 70 Bypass
Felony charges are filed in a Wayne County traffic crash that has now resulted in one death. Wayne County Bridge Will Be Replaced, Project Will Require Detour
Grantham School Road where it crosses Thoroughfare Swamp will close Tuesday morning for a bridge-replacement project. An N.C. Department of Transportation contractor will demolish the 67-year-old bridge and construct a modern structure with wider travel lanes and shoulders.
