MOUNT OLIVE – On Oct. 30 at approximately 3:30 p.m., an officer with the Mount Olive Police Department responded to the area of Martin St. near John St., in reference to a victim who had reported their vehicle stolen on Oct. 28, and had located their vehicle traveling down Martin Street. While officers were en route to the location, the call was upgraded to a shooting and vehicle crash. Officers arrived and located the juvenile driver of the stolen pickup truck.… read more »
