The annual Imagine Nation Awards recognize schools and districts across the country for their exceptional use of Imagine Learning programs and their commitment to supporting student growth. The awards are the highest distinction in the Imagine Nation customer recognition program.
WCC uses the course platform Imagine MyPath for math and reading in its Transitional Programs for College and Career, ensuring that students receive the additional support needed to complete High School Equivalency or Adult High School programs.
Imagine MyPath uses assessment data to design individualized, age-appropriate learning paths for each student.
“This targeted approach enables students to focus on specific areas of need before progressing forward, ultimately strengthening their academic foundation,” said WCC Workforce and Community Service Programs Coordinator Krystle Anderson.
WCC is one of 293 Imagine Nation Award winners out of over 42,000 eligible schools and districts.
Anderson said the recognition reflects WCC’s strong commitment to meeting students where they are academically and supporting their growth.
“Many adult learners may have previously missed critical foundational skills in math and reading,” Anderson explained. “Imagine MyPath provides an opportunity for students to revisit and fully understand these concepts at their own pace, with additional instructional support as needed.”
WCC received a commemorative Imagine Nation banner in recognition of this achievement.
