MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. — A portion of Old Seven Springs Road in Mount Olive will temporarily close beginning Wednesday as crews work on a sewer line replacement project.
According to a public notice issued by the Town of Mount Olive, Old Seven Springs Road between Ann Street and Francis Street will be closed beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, August 12.
The closure is scheduled to remain in effect through 5 p.m. Friday, August 14.
The town said the temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to complete a sewer line replacement in the area.
Residents who live within the affected area will continue to have access to their properties during the project.
The road will also be accessible to traffic outside of the daily construction hours, from 5 p.m. until 7 a.m.
Motorists who regularly travel through the area should plan accordingly and allow additional time while the daytime closure is in effect.
