The excitement is building as the Wings Over Wayne Air Show prepares to take flight with its kick-off event, “Jams Over Wayne,” set to take place on May 2nd, 2025 at The HUB located in the historic downtown Goldsboro. This unique celebration will honor our military members and give the community a chance to meet the Thunderbird Pilots, and other Air Show performers in person.
“Jams Over Wayne” promises an unforgettable night with live music from Dreamwave, kids activities provided by NC Freedom Fest, food trucks, static displays, and a chance for the community to come together in appreciation of our armed forces.
“We are thrilled to host the kick-off event for Wings over Wayne at our first Center Street Jam of the season,” said Erin Fonseca, Downtown Development Director. “This event not only highlights our incredible military personnel but also brings the community together to kick off one of the best events in North Carolina. Having the Thunderbirds in attendance adds an extra layer of excitement that we can’t wait to share with everyone.”
“Jams Over Wayne” will serve as a precursor to the main Wings Over Wayne Air Show, scheduled for May 3rd and 4th, where spectators will experience breathtaking aerial displays and demonstrations by the Thunderbirds.
