The Goldsboro volleyball team opened its season with a 25-19, 25-14, 26-24 against county rival Southern Wayne on Tuesday evening. WCUSC U13 Boys Crowned Second Division Champions

League play concluded last weekend, and the Wayne County United Soccer Club U13 boys’ team finished on top as second division champions. Wayne County United Soccer Club SMS U15 Girls led by Coach Todd Forgette extended their season over the weekend, participating in the North Carolina FC Youth Recreation Cup.
