A section of N.C. 111 South was closed in southern Wayne County Thursday afternoon. An 18-wheeler had reportedly gone off the road on 111 south of Highway 55 near James Price Road. As of 3 PM, the semi had been pulled back onto the roadway and the portion of N.C. 111 has reopened.read more »
