UPDATE: Olivia Lane Shooting Victim Perishes

Around 5:45 PM on Saturday, Goldsboro Police Officers responded to the 1100 block of Olivia Lane to investigate the sound of gunfire. The responding officers found the victim, 52-year-old Kenneth Raiford of Goldsboro, near the location with a single gunshot wound to the chest.  Raiford was transported by EMS to Wayne UNC Healthcare for treatment.
