Saturday Shooting Leaves Three Wounded

On Sept. 2 at approximately 8:13 p.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of Day Circle.
When officers arrived, they located Sadel Horton, 34, suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers also located a 12-year-old female suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to UNC Health Wayne for treatment. read more »

Deceased Man Found Outside Ollie’s Bargain Outlet

On Aug. 29 around 7 a.m., Goldsboro Police Department’s Patrol A-Shift responded to Ollie’s Bargain Outlet at 1005 N. Spence Ave. for a welfare check. EMS responded and declared the victim, Jerry Lee Stainback, 62, Seven Springs, deceased. Investigations were notified and responded to the location.read more »
