June 11, 2026, 88, Goldsboro – Larry Lee Miller, 88, of Goldsboro, departed this earthly life Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro surrounded by his loving family.
A graveside service with full military honors will be held at Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro with the date and time to be announced.
Mr. Miller was born in Virginia on March 10, 1938 to the late John Russell and Viola Conner Miller. He was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Goldsboro. He retired from the United States Air Force with over 20 years of dedicated service and also from Bridgestone/Firestone.
He is survived by his son, Russell Miller and wife, Lyn of Goldsboro; two daughters, Donna Aguilar and husband, Gabby of Shallotte, North Carolina and Gina Chapman and husband, Kevin of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two sisters, Carol Anne Miller and Mildred Weikle and husband, Elwin of West Virginia; two grandchildren, Ryan and wife, Jamie and Emma Chapman and three great-grandchildren, Luke, Jake and Ryan Grey.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Miller and his brother, Donald Miller.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
