June 7, 2026, 84, Dudley – Robert Eugene “Bob” Guyse, born in South Bend, IN. to the late Floyd Guyse and Mildred Bennett Guyse Hershberger and late stepfather, Oscar Hershberger.
Proudly served and retired from the US Army, Veteran of the Gulf War. Retired member and supporter of Mar-Mac Vol. Fire Dept. and Wayne Community College, and a member of Providence Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Everhart Guyse; daughter, Tammy Tolar and husband Eric of Crestview, FL; granddaughter, Aleshia Guyse, grandsons, Ransom Tolar and wife Yurika of Okinawa, Japan, Derrick Tolar and Darren Tolar of Florida; great-granddaughters, Baylee Tolar and Kaleigh Tolar.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Richard Guyse, and his sisters, Evelyn Myers and Joann Caenepeel
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. in the Mausoleum Chapel of Wayne Memorial Park, the Rev. David Pate officiating. Followed by full military honors provided by the United States Army, as well as Fireman honors to be provided by Mar-Mac Vol. Fire Dept. The family will greet friends one hour before the service at the mausoleum chapel.
