Downtown Goldsboro will kick off the Christmas season with the annual Downtown Lights Up event from 5 p.m. to 8 on Nov. 26.

This free event will feature visits with Santa Claus, holiday characters, hot cocoa, kids’ crafts, trolley rides, holiday entertainment, and a makers market.

The switch to light up downtown Goldsboro will be flipped in front of City Hall at 5:30.

Free horse-drawn trolley rides will start at The Hub and will begin at 5:30.
