Julia Ann Alexander Radford Allman, 85, answered the Lord’s call and entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 21, 2024. Ann was born in Wayne County to the late Joe and Ora Belle Alexander on November 9, 1938. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Henry Radford, and her husband of seven years, Wayne C. Allman; and brothers, Lee Barfield and Earl Barfield.

Ann was a valued employee of Electrolux in Statesville for many years.

With a great love for her Lord, Ann was a constant presence in her congregation at New Hope Friends Church. Participating in ministry there for as long as she was able, she was invested in spreading the love of God to all she met.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate Ann’s life at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel with Rev. Andrew Hise and Rev. Doug Radford officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday at Charity Baptist Church Cemetery in Boonville, NC with Rev. Brandon Jones officiating.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Beth Smith, and husband, Joe of East Bend; son, Bradley Radford, and wife, Beth of Roanoke, VA; brothers, Billy Alexander of Leland and Bobby Alexander of Leland; three grandchildren, Ashley Radford, Danny Smith, and wife, Amy, and Becca Ann Radford; and two great-grandchildren, Henry Lee Smith, and Oliver Wells Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in her memory to New Hope Friends Meeting Building Fund, 4052 U.S. Hwy. 70 East, Goldsboro, NC 27530, or the American Cancer Society, 930 Wellness Drive, #B, Greenville, NC 27834, or the charity of choice.

Services are entrusted to Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
