Thomasina Louise Barnes, 91, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2024, at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Born December 12, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Eunice Greene in New York City, New York.

A beloved figure in her community, Thomasina was known for her warm heart and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She spent her early years in New York before relocating to Goldsboro, where she became an integral part of the local community.

Thomasina leaves behind cherished memories for her family and friends, who will remember her for her kindness, laughter, and the love she shared with everyone around her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.

A service to celebrate her life will take place Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Andrews Episcopal Church with Reverend Greg Smith officiating.
