Vincent Sylvester Bletch, Jr., 82, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Jefferson County, Ohio to the late Vincent Sylvester Bletch, Sr. and Juanita Dyer Bletch on October 2, 1941.

Mr. Bletch proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Following his service in the Navy, he became a valued employee of the United States Postal Service.

The family will gather for an informal visitation and time of sharing on Monday, September 30, 2024, from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a committal service at 2:00 p.m. in the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Bletch is survived by his wife, Sherron Lee Highsmith; three daughters, and one grandchild.
