Melissa L. McDowell, 68, of Goldsboro completed her earthly journey Friday, September 27, 2024, at UNC Health Wayne.

She was the loving wife to Paul McDowell Jr.; mother to Teracetia McDowell; sister to Raymond and Phyllis and wonderful grandmother to Monae McDowell.

Preceded in her homegoing were her parents and a daughter, Akishi Yolanda McDowell.
