September 21, 2024, 88, Goldsboro —

Eula Mae Johnson, 88, of La Grange passed away Saturday morning, September 21, 2024, at Helping Hands Assisted Living of Goldsboro.

At her request, no formal service will be held.

Ms. Johnson was born in Wayne County on November 7, 1935, to the late Robert Lee and Pattie Mae Perry Walker.  

She is survived by two sons, Jarvis Dean Worrell and wife, Dianne of Goldsboro and Donald Earl Worrell of Goldsboro; two daughters, Felicia Mae Overton of La Grange and Wanda Kay Sutton of La Grange; two grandchildren, Jeremy Scott Worrell and Donald Lee Sutton and one great-grandchild, Starling Worrell.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Worrell was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald H. “Bud” Worrell and Grover E. Johnson, and one granddaughter, Summer Brooke Worrell.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
