Geraldine Barnes Hayes, 90, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Born on April 3, 1934 in Wilson County, she was daughter to the late Eli Barnes and Callie Scott Barnes.

Geraldine is survived by her sons, Gary Thomas Hayes and wife, Cathy, and Jeffrey Kim Hayes; her grandchildren, Mitchell Hayes, James Hayes, Lindsay Ceyrolles, Jordan Hayes and Joseph Pittman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thomas Hayes; her daughter, Annette Pittman; her grandson, Tanner Hayes; and two sisters.

At her request, no formal services will be held.

Services have been entrusted to Kenly Funeral Service.
