Dennis Franklin Anders, 84, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024, at UNC Health Wayne. Born in Campbell County, Virginia on June 17, 1940, he was the son of the late Cecil and Mildred Phillips Anders.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Anders; sister, Dixie Ramey; and daughter, Kim Anders.

Dennis is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Knight Anders; daughter, Stacey Stevens; son, Shawn Anders; and granddaughter, Kayla Williams.

Dennis worked as a production manager with Heavy Duty in Goldsboro.

The family will hold a private service to celebrate Dennis’ life at a later date.
