Sherry Elizabeth Larkin was born on June 26, 1943, in Bath, New York. Sherry graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in social work. She started a career as a real estate agent after having children. Later, Sherry returned to school to become a pension administrator which she did until her retirement. She had a love for all animals and really cherished horses and cats.

Ms. Sherry Howell married Denis R. Larkin and they had two children: Christa Champlin Larkin and Devon Willian Larkin. The couple was later divorced.

Sherry Howell Larkin is survived by her 2 children; her 3 grandchildren, Emerson Kate Rhodes, Riley Mae Rhodes, and Landon Shoemake; and her nephew and niece, Michael Brian Larkin and Rebecca Elizabeth Larkin-Martinez”.

On Sunday, September 1, 2024, Sherry passed peacefully in her sleep. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, and former husband.

Sherry has asked for simple cremation with no memorial service, if you would like to honor her in your own way, because of her love of cats and her volunteer work at the SPCA, she would like for donations to be made to SPCA of Wake County.
