July 4, 2024, 86, Mount Olive —

Leroy E. Stalmach, 86, a native of Texas and long-time resident of the Pleasant Grove community near Mount Olive, passed away on Independence Day, 2024.  He had been employed with Scott and Jones Inc. in Calypso for many years and had served in the United States Air Force.  Leroy had been married to Alise Herring Stalmach who passed away last year.
