BUIES CREEK — Wayne County American Legion Post 11 starting pitcher Davis Hathaway turned in five strong innings in a 4-2 win over Florence, South Carolina on Saturday.

University of Mount Olive pitcher Erik Rosas pitched the final two innings for Wayne County to earn the save. Post 11 (11-6) faces Rock Hill, South Carolina on Sunday.
