Andrea Michelle Wright, 52, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2024. Born in Ellenville, New York on January 9, 1972, she was the daughter of Della Skipworth Wright and the late Lewis Wright.

In addition to her father, Andrea was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent Wright.

In addition to her mother Della Wright, Andrea is survived by her children, Shanay Wright, Diandra Wright, and Brianna Wilson; grandchild, Amir Pridgen; brother, Mark Wright; and sister Lorrayne Walcott Jenkins. She also loved Jamel Braswell, Kellie Harris, Jocelyn Prez, and many others as if they were her own.

Nothing was more relaxing to Andrea than sitting down and playing video games or a good comedy with her cup of tea. She loved to read and write. Her creative nature made her stories jump off the pages and a pleasure to read. Andrea loved collecting books, snow globes, and all things Betty Boop.

Andrea was fiercely independent and strong-willed, with a heart filled full of compassion and care for others. She has even taken in others as a family with no hesitation. As a mama, she loved her children with all she had (and her traits may have been passed on strongly to all 3 of her daughters). Andrea’s love for her family was evident and her love for them knew no bounds.

Per her request, no formal services will be held until further notice.
