On Friday night at approximately 11:58, officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a 911 call in the 600 block of Stronach Avenue.

The caller requested help for a man who had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers found Antonio Devonne Wooten, 46, Goldsboro, suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen. 

EMS transported the victim to UNC Health Wayne for treatment. Wooten was transferred to ECU Health in Greenville for further treatment and is currently in stable condition. The investigation is ongoing.
