YOUR SEYMOUR SALUTE

YOUR SEYMOUR SALUTE

Every week, Your Seymour Salute highlights an airman serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Airman 1st Class Diana Giles was born in California and raised in Arizona. Giles is a military justice paralegal assigned to the 4th Fighter Wing Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, and she is the sole prosecution paralegal for a general court-martial. Her duties included analyzing evidence, interviewing witnesses, drafting documents for higher headquarters, and the travel and logistics for all parties of the court.

Giles also stepped up as a Victims’ Advocate supporting a crime victim during a period of high operations tempo in her unit. Her work and advocacy during this process ended with an Airman being found guilty of sexual assault. Giles also offered to fill the E-6 position of NCOIC of Adverse Actions for one week, where she processed nonjudicial punishments and promoted discipline and order.

Lastly, A1C Giles is a valuable asset to the 4th FW, reviewing and perfecting inspection items for the upcoming Unit Effectiveness Inspection.
