Mansel Tyrone Rowe, also known as “Sel”, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at his home.

A service to celebrate his life will be held Monday, May 13, 2024, at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.  The family will greet friends following the service.

Mansel was born in Wayne County, NC on January 9, 1979.  He attended True Holiness House of Prayer in Goldsboro when he was younger.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Wanda Robinson-Anthony, and husband, Samuel of Wilson; one son, Keiyauntae Davis (Resheeda Davis) of Mt. Olive; one daughter, Jasmine Hayes of Goldsboro; one brother, Maurice O’Neil Rowe and wife, Tammy of Goldsboro; five grandchildren, Tamurcus Hayes, Takobe Hayes, Jahzara Hayes, Kymere Davis, and Kash Davis; his aunts, Elma Best and husband, Elder Nathaniel Best of Goldsboro and Annie Rowe Cain of Goldsboro; two nieces, Jasmine Leftdwige and Aujanet Leftdwige and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mansel was preceded in death by his father, Aaron O’Neil Rowe Jr.; his brother, Jamel Lee Rowe, and his step-sister, Towanda Tyson.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
