WCC to Hold Two Spring Graduation Ceremonies

Wayne Community College’s spring 2024 graduating class will be honored during two ceremonies on Friday at The Maxwell Center.
Curriculum (college credit) graduates of WCC’s Applied Technologies and Arts & Sciences divisions will be recognized during the day’s first ceremony at 10 a.m.

Those in the College’s Allied Health & Public Services, Business & Computer Technologies, and Public Safety divisions will graduate in the second ceremony held at 2 p.m.

A total of 519 students are set to graduate this spring, with students receiving a total of 749 degrees, diplomas, and certificates.

The guest speaker for the ceremonies will be Madelyn Luethje, president of WCC’s Student Government Association, who will receive an associate in applied science degree in Business Administration.

Both ceremonies are ticketed events with each graduate receiving six tickets for guests. All others may watch the ceremonies livestreamed on the College’s Facebook page.

Students or guests needing special accommodations should contact the Accessibility Counselor at (919) 739-6729 prior to graduation to allow ample time for arrangements to be made.
