Foodie Week in Wayne County, hosted by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce, culminated on Friday evening with Foodie Friday at The Hub in downtown Goldsboro.
Food Friday featured an open-air dinner with a locally sourced meal and a live auction with profits being donated to the Wayne County Livestock Development Association for ag scholarships awarded to local students attending Wayne Community College and the University of Mount Olive.
Foodie Friday also included a viewing of the Foodie Friday documentary filmed by the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and the County of Wayne.
Throughout the week, a Wayne County restaurant was highlighted at lunch with a different establishment being in the spotlight at dinner. The chamber also conducted a private AG tour at lunch on Tuesday that was documented on social media.
