On Apr. 21 at 1:55 pm, NC Wildlife Officers encountered suspicious activity at the Bill Lane Blvd boat landing and requested assistance from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.

During the investigation, a container of crystal methamphetamine was discovered to be in Robert Christopher Boyette’s possession.

Boyette, 52, Princeton, was arrested on-scene by Wayne County Deputies and booked into the Wayne County Detention Center with no bond.

Boyette later received a $1,000 secured bond. He also received a citation from NC Wildlife for Unauthorized use of the Boat Ramp.
