Katherine Ann Wood Lynch, 74, passed away at Brookdale on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Born in Charlotte on August 30, 1949, she was the daughter of the late George Hall Wood and Alice Woodruff Wood.

Katherine is survived by her brothers, Michael B. Wood and George H. Wood, Jr.

For many years, Katherine worked with several local moving companies. Even after her retirement, she was always available to assist other moving companies with technical needs. Katherine enjoyed her friends. She enjoyed watching her favorite soap operas and NASCAR racing. Katherine was known for her good cooking skillset. When not too busy, she could be seen enjoying a good book. Those who knew Katherine knew of her love for dogs. Throughout her life she had several, and each one held a special place in her heart.

Katherine will be laid to rest at Willow Dale Cemetery.
