Wayne County Participating in Community Health Needs Assessment

Wayne County Participating in Community Health Needs Assessment

Wayne County is participating in a community health needs assessment that takes place every three years.

The assessment includes numerous counties in Eastern North Carolina. The survey is open until June 7.

The responses from this survey will be used to develop plans to better meet your healthcare needs and improve the overall health of our community. The survey uses opinions from people in the community to find out the most important health issues and is used to make a plan to improve them.

The survey is completely anonymous, which means no one will know who said what. A separate group will be collecting the information so community members can feel safe sharing their thoughts and concerns without worrying about being identified.

The information gathered from the survey will help make plans to improve the health of our community. Various health organizations in Eastern North Carolina will review general information from the survey to come up plans on how to improve things. Once a plan is made, it will be shared so everyone in the community will know what we are doing to make our community healthier.

Community involvement in the assessment is critical and your participation in taking the survey is essential.
