Ms. Luvenia B. Franklin, 95, completed her earthly journey and peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, April 12, 2024, at home surrounded by her loved ones. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 1:00 pm at St. Delight United Holy Church, 976 La Grange Road, La Grange, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, April 19, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.

She was born on November 8, 1928, in Greene County, NC. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.
