Fourth Dead Body Found in Goldsboro in Four Days

On Monday, at approximately 10:34 a.m., officers with the Goldsboro Police Department responded to a call for a possible DOA in the 600 block of Isler Street.

Monday marks the fourth consecutive day the Goldsboro Police Department has been called to the scene of a dead body.

The reporting party discovered a deceased female in the residence upon returning home. When officers arrived, they confirmed that there was a deceased female at the location.

The Goldsboro Police Department’s Investigative Services Bureau and Crime Scene Unit were contacted and responded to the scene. With the assistance of Wayne County Probation/Parole Officers, the deceased was identified as Eboni Marie Jackson, 47, of Goldsboro.

The investigation into the cause and manner of death is ongoing, however, no foul play is suspected currently.
