On Wednesday, the Wayne County Aggressive Criminal Enforcement Team (ACE) members were conducting traffic enforcement in the Mar-Mac Area when a traffic stop was made for a Chapter 20 violation.

Shannon Lee Burlingame, 42, Mount Olive, was in possession of Methamphetamine and had a Felony Warrant for his arrest.

Burlingame was arrested and taken to the Wayne County Magistrates Office, where he received a secured bond. He has been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession
of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.
