Wayne STEM Academy Receives $20,000 Grant

Wayne STEM Academy has received a $20,000 Launch Grant from Project Lead The Way (PLTW.)

This grant covers activities that let students see what they can be and help them build skills to discover what they can do, immersing students in hands-on activities, projects, and problems that build on each other and relate to the real world.

Students experience integrated learning that blends computer science, engineering, biomedical science, and more.

Project Lead The Way was created by teachers and is led by educators to motivate, prepare, and support teachers as they strive to make every child in every grade STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) successful.

Wayne STEM Academy is a public charter school open to all North Carolina resident students and is serving families from Wayne and surrounding counties with an innovative and immersive STEM education curriculum.
