Hope Restorations Holds Open House

Hope Restorations, a non-profit social enterprise that helps individuals recover from addiction and incarceration, held an open house on Friday, at its first Wayne County property renovated by the House of Hope for Men.

The property is located at 807 Nile Street in Goldsboro.

Hope Restorations helps individuals recover from addiction and incarceration by providing steady income, employment preparation, coaching in soft skills, mentoring, and other services needed for a successful transformation.

To implement this skill training, Hope Restorations acquires deteriorating properties in the community and renovates them into safe, energy-efficient affordable housing units available to rent below fair market value to the low-income population.

Hope Restorations partners with other community agencies to provide other needed services for our participants, broadening the range of opportunities and care they receive. They operate a transitional house and recovery program for up to twenty women at a time called the House of Hope.

Locally, Hope Restorations partners with Wayne Community College, the Wayne County Reentry Council, and the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
