Every week, Your Seymour Salute highlights an airman serving at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro.

Senior Airman Senior Airman Diego Esparza, a radio frequency technician with the 4th Communication Squadron, at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

Senior Airman Esparaza, is the sole radio frequency technician permanently assigned to the Special Missions Team. He was responsible for supporting all lead wing operations and participated in exercises such as RAZOR TALON, AGILE LION, AND AGILE FLAG.

In preparation for the exercises, Senior Airman Esparaza inspected all radio frequency equipment, including antenna masts and tactical-type radios, for forward operating sites and contingency locations.

Additionally, Senior Airman Esparaza is the lead communications trainer for Multi-Capable Airman classes and has trained over 150 personnel across 30-plus job specialties with basic radio frequency capabilities.
