February 24, 2024, 27, Kenly —

Brandon Michael Petrick, 27, of Kenly passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield.  He was born in Orange County, New York on October 13, 1996, to Brian Anthony Petrick and Lisa Lynn Petrick.  He is preceded in death by a maternal grandmother and grandfather, Kathrine Turner and Michael Gilbert Turner; paternal grandfather, Donald Petrick; and uncle, Tony Alan Turner.

Brandon always said he had to “go catch-em-all”, meaning the Pokémon.  He was a very intelligent young man who loved to play computer games.  He was constantly on his computer.  He had a dream of one day going to Paris.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lisa Lynn Petrick and Gary Bass; father, Brian Anthony Petrick; brothers, Justin Anthony Petrick (Jennifer Lynn), and Noah Lynn Murray; sisters, Maranda Elizabeth Petrick and Emily Elizabeth Petrick; paternal grandmother, Linda Doerrer; grandmother, Kathy Scarborough, and his best friend, Robin Burnette.
