Cures for the Colors Gala Scheduled for April

The Cures for the Colors Harmony for Hope Gala at 6 p.m. on Apr. 13th at the Maxwell Center is quickly approaching, and tickets are selling fast.

The event is a fundraiser for Southeastern Cancer Care and promises to be an inspiring and entertaining evening while raising support for those battling cancer.

The event will feature a silent auction, where attendees can bid on handcrafted items made by cancer survivors, as well as other exciting packages, such as a beginner’s kayak class and wine-tasting experience.

All of the proceeds from the auction will go towards providing essential support to individuals fighting cancer.

Live music will also be provided by Jimmy Deve, T. Davis, and Steve Jones, creating a harmonious atmosphere throughout the night. A DJ will keep the energy high, ensuring a lively and memorable experience. Finally, there will be a delicious buffet-style spread provided by Provision Kitchen.

The gala is more than just a night of entertainment; it’s a chance to make a difference in the lives of those in need. Guests will contribute to Southeastern Cancer Care’s mission of providing basic living essentials to people battling cancer.

Tickets are currently on sale for $50 per person at southeasterncancercare.org. Each ticket includes event entry, food, drinks, and more. For questions about tickets or event sponsorship, call (919) 587-9056.

Southeastern Cancer Care was founded in 2011 by the doctors at Southeastern Medical Oncology Center.

The organization provides gas cards and grocery cards and helps with utility bills and oncology prescriptions to cancer patients and their families. All of the funds raised go directly to supporting cancer patients. Southeastern Cancer Care runs entirely off monetary donations, volunteers’ time, and resources.
